April Showers Bring May Flowers, or in our case April Powders Bring May Winers And June Towers Of Flowers

It's been a wet May and June and the garden show has just started. The roses burst forth just this week and haven't wasted any time going into overdrive. The poppies exploded their little casings, transforming into a technicolor dream. Peonies, little ball buds one moment, the next a frilly lush bloom, dripping with color so full they make me want to sing or cry.
