Finally made it out to Richard and Sara's annual Pig Roast after missing it for too many years.

It was a spectacle of the California good life, set in the hills above the town of Sonoma. We arrived mid-morning and it just all felt right from the first moment as we walked down a dirt road shaded by live oaks towards the jazz music and people.

A huge beast of a pig was already roasting on Angelo's spit when we walked up. We met gracious host Paul first thing and he told me about the Klipsh speakers that were providing the great soundtrack for the event. Wine began to flow like water soon thereafter.

It was a fine time indeed! Excellent company, food, wine and music.
