Another crazy idea. Somebody told Evan there was a trail up there. Well, what are you gonna do? Have to go up there and see.

First there was an unused road that went straight up. We decided we should have brought the single speeds -- at least they would have been lighter to carry.

Then came the endless bushwack as the trail would disappear again and again into the scrub. Dan saw a rattlesnake -- I guess he could have tried to kill it with his bike

Finally we hit a continuous trail and a short, but sweet ridge ride ensued. Then the ridge started going down - down like plunging out of site. We decide it would have been a good ski run

Not to make short of the fun we had riding down the really really steep and loose switchbacks. It was a ride to see how slow you could ride your bike with your stomach on the seat as your back wheel skidded down the switchbacks.

Not sure when we will get to that one again, but we all agreed that it was weird sick fun
